The Faculty of Management invites applications for a tenured appointment at the rank of Full Professor and as Director of the Faculty of Management at UBC’s Okanagan campus.

Responsibilities:
We are seeking a senior academic who has achieved an international reputation for significant and high quality academic contributions. Candidates will provide evidence of undergraduate and graduate teaching excellence, preferably through student and peer assessment. Reporting to the Dean of Management, the successful candidate will provide inspiring and effective leadership in the management of the academic, curricular and faculty development components of the Faculty’s activities. The Director is also responsible for leadership of the Faculty’s undergraduate and graduate programs. The Director will support the implementation of the Faculty’s operational plan and ensure its fulfillment in all sectors of activity related to research and teaching, and educational leadership.

Qualifications:

As part of its programs, SoBE offers active student learning as well as the globalization of the business environment.

The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses in financial and managerial accounting and maintain an active research agenda. QUALIFICATIONS:
